I am a professional indexer of scholarly texts in the humanities and social sciences and general-interest trade books. My indexes have been published with Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Stanford University Press, University of California, University of North Carolina Press, Rutgers University Press, Karma Books, and Barrett-Koehler Publishers, among others. I create back-of-the-book as well as embedded indexes.

I worked as an editor and indexer for Art Index, and was employed for 20 years as an academic librarian.
